Summer is music festival season, and you don’t want to miss out on sharing and saving memories from seeing your favorite bands and artists!
Here’s how to make the most of your music festival experience!
DRINK WATER
One of the worst ways to ruin your experience is by getting dehydrated. Carry a water bottle around everywhere and make sure you finish a bottle before heading to your next venue! Keeping your energy high will help you enjoy each concert to the fullest. I’ve had my Swell water bottle for a year and it keeps my water cold all day long!
GET THERE EARLY
Popular music festivals get crowded quickly, and you won’t want to miss getting a good spot to see your favorite band or artist! If you have an Apple Watch you can use this to set reminders on concert times and venues and quickly respond to your messages! At crowded festivals it may be difficult to pull out your phone and the Apple Watch’s features make it easy and convenient! Using the watch can even save your phone battery.
WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES
Of course, you want to wear that special outfit that will look great in pictures, but make sure you’re not too uncomfortable! Festivals include a lot of walking, standing, and enduring weather and you don’t want to be miserable. Some of the best shoes for festivals are sneakers. I love my black Old Skool Vans because they’re versatile and comfortable!
KEEP YOUR BELONGINGS CLOSE
Crowded spaces provide plenty of opportunity for theft. Make sure your money is tucked away in a tight pocket or in your bag, and don’t leave your bags laying around! You likely won’t notice someone trying to steal in a large crowd. Small backpacks are perfect for music festivals: keep your belongings attached securely to your back while not having to hold a bag! One of my favorite bags for festivals are Herschel Supply Co. backpacks. With multiple storage pockets the backpack keeps your belongings organized while not being too large. They’re simple, cute, and perfect for any outfit!
SHARE YOUR MEMORIES
If you’re with a group of friends, you will likely be taking tons of pictures. You don’t want to miss out on a good memory! Use the Share Your Photos App to upload and share your photos and videos with friends in a shared photo album. It’s free, quick and really easy to use! Here’s what you do:
- Download the free app.
- Create an event: Ex: CMA Fest 2017
- Share event with your friends (Ex: CMAFEST17)
- Text your friends and invite them to join your album
- Share your photos each day in order for your friends to see the pictures you took, share their own pictures and clear up storage on your camera roll!
KEEP YOUR MEMORIES SAFE & FREE UP SPACE FOR MORE
The last thing you want happening is to run out of storage on your phone when you’re trying to capture that perfect selfie, or even worse – dropping your phone into a big puddle and losing all of those awesome photos you took. Easily plug in your Picture Keeper Connect into your Apple or Android smartphone to back up your photos, videos and contacts and free up space for more. What’s great is you don’t need WiFi and don’t have to use your data! Use code SYP40 to get 40% off!
